After watching soo many replays from the SMM'10, I'm certain this was the most entertaining game of them all. It would've been more fun if I could lay hands on the pick sequence, and know how SB took those pushing bastards without getting noticed. :D
This was a stupendous game with Nv.my getting all the ganking heroes they could lay their hands on while SB prepared a push strategy. The best fight of the game takes place at the Roshan's enclave and it was seriously a tough job to predict which team will get the aegis finally. :P I didn't note down the exact start/end time of the epic battle, but I guess it was more than 5 mins long. :D
My verdict on seeing the picks:
SB seem to have the upper hand here as the enemy team lacked the essential "ranged AoE" to take out the pushing creeps (Furion). Also, Rhasta + Venomancer wards would be a pain as they are magically immune. However, Nv.my line-up wasn't so bad either... they had tons of nukes and should be able to take out enemy heroes in a snap. :D
Of all, Furion's game impressed me the most with his amazing timing at ganks, fake teleportations and evading spells with Eul's Scepter. ;) Lion also put up an entertaining show from Scourge's sides surprising enemies with his blink dagger and helping allies initiate with Force Staff.
Overall, an amazing game special thanks to SB for a bold use of this strat.
Recommended Game for Furion, Lion.

ReplyDeleteEhome vs Lgd. QF
is 10x beter than this
Well, I've seen that game too and yes, you can say that game was better skill-wise but entertainment wise, this game was much better. :)
ReplyDeleteJust difference of opinion though. :D
why cant i watch the replay? i have the right version and the right map and yet it keeps saying "the map file associated with the replay could not be found"
ReplyDeletemake a new folder in the wc3 folder and copy and paste the v6.69c map into the new Dota folder, and woila! works.
ReplyDeleteWhen u see the error, read carefully the path that it cant asssociate the 6.69c map to, and make sure you have a directory wich is the exact same that it says in the error. ex: if the error says its cant associate to Warcraft/Maps/Dota Maps/Dota v6.69c, make a new folder called "Dota Maps" Within the Original "Maps" folder, And copy and paste the 6.69c Map into the new "Dota Maps" Folder
